Volume I Summary
Fourteen year old Princess Lily and her parents, King Ruben and Queen Jesina, are proclaimed to be late descendants of the legendary Selena Rose. They do their job well and everyone is happy, so no one bats an eyelash to the rumors of the "purity" of the royal blood.

Princess Lily, plain of face and dull of hair, is not the idealized princess. Every morning the servants come and pretty her up, they curl her hair and brighten her cheeks, but none the less is still rarely seen. She is a lonely girl who has grown out of her toys and yearns for friends, but more intently, young love. So when a mysterious alien arrives on the Second Moon and becomes the king's head knight, Lily falls victim to his charm.

The strange visitor is a tall man that goes by the name Silver. It becomes obvious that he's in search of something but no one seems to notice. He seduces the young princess by mysteriously appearing every night on her balcony and speaking words of love. But when the moment is right, he convinces her to take him to what he is searching for.

Having nothing better to do, Lily would eavesdrop on her mother, Queen Jesina, at the meetings she held to discover the meanings of all the lunar fables about the legendary Selena Rose but more importantly, the origin of the Second Moon. Lily overheard that there is a passageway hidden deep in the abandoned dungeons of the palace that could only be opened by one of the royal blood. She took Silver there.

The door wouldn't budge no matter how hard Silver rammed it. But as Lily approached it, she felt faint; her limbs feeling much lighter. Silver observed as she freely opened the door and stepped in. The walk was long and repetitive; nothing in the exaggerated corridor looked different. Finally they reached the end. The corridor led to a spherical room that held an enormous mass of swirling energy that took up nearly the whole room.

The emerald stone was a transparent shell with a softer mint green liquid swirling around within. (This next part is still sketchy.) As Lily approached it, she could hear a voice luring her in, it growing brighter. She touched it and, with a blast of noise and light, everything faded.

The next thing Lily knew, everything was calm and quiet...and hot. Lily slowly stirred awake, lying on her belly in the sand. She felt so groggy as she slipped her fingers into the hot sand. Her eyes opened subtly; the light was bright and the heat was demanding. Finally reality sank in and she opened her eyes fully and sat up. "Where am I?"

She was in a desert with bright yellow sand, the horizon sky was purple, and in the distance she saw three figures approaching her. When they got to her, she could see their dark, intimidating uniforms. The three men grabbed Lily by her arms and dragged her with them back toward the direction from which they came.
